What we collect
Only what the service needs to work:
- Members: name, mobile number (entered by you, never by someone else on your behalf), timezone, and the contact logs and notes you choose to record.
- The person your circle looks after: name, phone number, timezone, key dates your organizer adds, and — only after your organizer records that person's consent — optional mood and health observations members choose to log.
- Messaging records: texts you send to our number and a log of reminders we sent you, kept for compliance and so we never over-message you.
What we never do
- No advertising, no sale of data, no data sharing with brokers — ever.
- No third-party analytics touch mood or health notes. We run self-hosted counts only.
- No reading of your phone's call logs. Members log contact themselves.
- No message content is used for anything except showing it to your own circle.
- Phone numbers and opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing; SMS consent is not transferable.
Health-adjacent information
Mood and health observations are treated as consumer health data under a Washington-My-Health-My-Data-grade standard regardless of where you live: capture is blocked until the person the circle looks after has consented; the data is encrypted at rest and in transit; and it is deleted with the circle.
Messaging and consent
SMS reminders are sent only to members who ticked the consent box themselves on the join page (or texted START from their own phone). Reply STOP any time — we confirm once and go silent, and your consent record is kept (marked revoked) so we can prove we honored it. Message frequency is capped at 4 automated messages per day.
Where data lives
Data is stored in Cloudflare's D1 database (encrypted at rest) and transmitted over TLS. SMS is delivered via Twilio, which processes phone numbers and message bodies as our messaging provider.
Export and deletion
Your organizer can export the circle's complete data as JSON at any time, and can delete the circle. Deletion starts a 30-day recovery window, after which everything — contacts, notes, health observations, consent history, message logs — is permanently purged.
