What we collect

Only what the service needs to work:

What we never do

Health-adjacent information

Mood and health observations are treated as consumer health data under a Washington-My-Health-My-Data-grade standard regardless of where you live: capture is blocked until the person the circle looks after has consented; the data is encrypted at rest and in transit; and it is deleted with the circle.

Messaging and consent

SMS reminders are sent only to members who ticked the consent box themselves on the join page (or texted START from their own phone). Reply STOP any time — we confirm once and go silent, and your consent record is kept (marked revoked) so we can prove we honored it. Message frequency is capped at 4 automated messages per day.

Where data lives

Data is stored in Cloudflare's D1 database (encrypted at rest) and transmitted over TLS. SMS is delivered via Twilio, which processes phone numbers and message bodies as our messaging provider.

Export and deletion

Your organizer can export the circle's complete data as JSON at any time, and can delete the circle. Deletion starts a 30-day recovery window, after which everything — contacts, notes, health observations, consent history, message logs — is permanently purged.
